Last night I got out for a quick trip to a local trout factory. This creek is very weedy so twitching a deer hair caddis pattern upstream was the preferred method.
After fishing for an hour and a half I caught only these two trout. I missed a few little browns and a couple very colorful brookies. The fish are beautiful this time of year because they are preparing to spawn.
